@ Black Is Beautiful-Lighting And The Decisive Moment @

Black Is Beautiful-Lighting

Theme- “A Dream Home Of Mine”.
I have been wishing to have a home that is shown in the above pictures.
From the lighting and exposure, it reveals the stark contrast of light and shadows,
and the way the light falls onto the object gives a relaxation ambience that most
of them is hoping for as a Dream Home.

The Decisive Moment

Theme- “What’s Always On People Mind”.
The sunlight falls on to the floor to gives a dull colours and make the
contrast of light and shadow. This side of view capture my attention
because I was wondering what’s this lady is thinking about. She might
be thinking of her future. From this photo, I believe she has a bright future,
evidence is from where she is facing. A bright white view in front of her!

Theme- “You’ll Never Know What They Will Become”.
These kids are actually “Driving”. They will move on with their life.
The good lighting conveys the lively side of theirs which catch my
attention to give it a shot. Bright future await them.

Theme- “ Food Please! ”.
This is a stray cat which is looking for food. When I get closer to it, it give me
an expression that shows he is hungry and spare him some food.

Theme- “ Believe You Can Do It “.
I give it a fast shot when I find this guy standing here. He was hesitating
whether should he walk straight to the end instead of finding another shortcut
way. The lighting contrast of this photo convey that the decision is always
yours to make. Always believe yourself.

@ Extraordinary Out of Ordinary - Architecture/Me @

The following picture is taken according to the theme given " Extraordinary Out of Ordinary ".
In addition, I will give a write-up on the thoughts and reflections why I chose this scene and how they were shot.

Subject: Architecture

First 2 Images of same architecture scene from exterior in both day and night.

With the extensive ambience and the cloudy mood it gives me, I decided to give it a shot.
This photo effectively express the different structures of the architecture buildings.

This is the same architecture scene I taken in the same location as the above. It shows the different ambience and contrast with all the lighting with the comparison of the two images.

Overall Conclusion: The scene that I took above tells me the development of Singapore since this is consider one of the best building in the central area. When I see this pictures, some kind of thought run through my mind. The question is " Will this scene look the same again after five or ten years? ". My answer is " No! ".

Second 2 Images of interior shots of a building.

This image is taken from one of the scene in esplanade. What I think so extraordinary about this subject or scenes is because of the color contrast and the pattern. I give a close up shot to capture the clear color contrast that release a relaxation ambience.

What this subject interest me is the bright blue color combination. It's give me a classic feeling with the color lining together with the pattern. It effectively convey the Extraordinary out of the ordinary.

Subject: This is Me

Self Portrait one

This is taken by my friend, with a close up angle from the bottom view. The reason I chose this image to be upload is because with the color and the ambience the background gives, I'm able to give a natural expression. In this environment and surrounding, I felt relieve and relax, no more troubles and stress. It's just feel Good!

Self Portrait two
I considered this is the best shot I have ever take. This picture effectively show the curiosity of me of wondering what is in the cup that the picture on the window glass shows. With the angle that the camera was held, it's improve the realness of this whole subject.
